19th

Well I'm supposed/expected to be doing my design brief right now but well... A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Hahaha what excuses...

Just turned 19th yesterday and I must say that though this birthday did not include any big celebration or whatsoever, I loved it. Really. It wasn't anything "high" but I guess what made it special was that I kind of celebrated it over 4 days. Hehehehe.

So it started off with Ken's mum being really sweet to bring me out on a nice meat dinner at the club after a mini shopping "spree" in Somerset. Of course before that, baby and I headed to town a wee bit earlier and he decided to give me an advanced present over our favorite Häagen-Dazs brownie with ice cream dessert. Touched like hellheaven! He actually got churchies, best friend and ejkmn plus the girls, to throw in some money for this huge "angbao" for me. It was a dream/wish-come-true for me for sure as I've been c r a v i n g to go shopping for the longest time but Rae being Rae was obviously way too broke for any of that leisure. Yes, I was/am extremely touched and I feel really blessed for such nice friends for helping to fulfill my wish :)

Next day, Jann, Ken and I went to flea and walk about in town. It was a pretty sluggish and lazy day for us though, but nonetheless, it was good! Thanks, sisterrrrr, for the banglez and whatnots :) And the parents, too, for my "qhim zua".

The actual day itself was spent having a sumptuous family lunch. Thank you, Han and Jie for the soupy thing and the card! And then ice cream afterwards. It was great despite some downsides :) Baby then brought me for abit of shopping, which definitely made me happy, before we cabbed down to Thomson to meet churchies for dinner and ice cream (again). Had Mengs for dinner where they secretly planned a mini surprise with Andrea appearing out of nowhere with my "ice cream cake". Then we really headed next door for ice cream, where the bestfriend joined us! What better way to spend the second half of your birthday with a bunch a great friends, best friend AND boyfriend right? Thanks all of you for being so nice and sweet :')

So school started today.

Monday blues kicked in real bad for sure, causing it to not be a very productive day for plenty. The day was made after a surprise from the Bs plus a few others. Definitely didn't see that coming hehehe. Thanks y'all, for the surprise, cake and gift! 

With that, it concludes my very meaningful 19th.
