It's 4.10AM on a Tuesday and I'm still awake. Eyelids definitely weigh a ton by now but backbone and joints are keeping a sleepy me from sleeping.
And so nights like this get me thinking.
I've so many friends who seem to enjoy secondary and polytechnic life so much, yet I feel that primary school probably made the best school years for me. What could life have been like if I actually kept friends from secondary school? Although honestly I can't see myself hanging out or having a special friendship with any of the group I've ever hung out with. Yeah that's kinda sad, I guess.
What would life be like without my girlfriends, jan and xll? What would life be like without my bestfriend/boyfriend, ken? What would life be like without churchies and rach?
I thought I would have a long list of "what ifs" from that, but ended up with only 3. That's kinda sad too.
I guess as we grow older, we just tend to find out who the real friends are and who are friends worth the keep. With that we end up having lesser friends as we grow up, but more true friends. That's why the saying goes something like, you don't need to have many friends, just friends who really matter.
Oh life.
(I really think I should sleep, so goodnight)
