Because I feel like blogging

Gonna be blogging about Ken's birthday because... I feel like blogging. And yes I'm (secretly) blogging at work again, so this post is gonna take forever to finish. Let's try- time check: 11:26AM.

So the boyfriend hit the big 2 on 19 August and for someone like us, who don't really fancy celebrating birthdays, this boy had a row of events planned for him back to back.

It started off with late dinner to pamper his tummy on 16th of August. I discovered a cafe near Thomson Plaza called The Little Part 1 and we decided to check it out.

This is the interior of the cafe, really cosy place with nice decorations. Our table was right beside this shelf filled with a pretty wide variation of books, so Ken decided to make me read him Lao Fu Zi while we waited for our food. He had honey roasted BBQ ribs, while I had shepherds pie. Good food, although pricey, but the birthday boy loved it!

We went to the ArtScience Museum the next day for Mummy: Secret of the Tomb, Essential Eames: A Herman Miller Exhibition and 50 Greatest Photographs of National Geographic.

In my opinion, the Nat Geo exhibition was the best, followed by the Mummy one. Go for it if you haven't!!!

So after the exhibitions, we went back to Ken's place where a surprise was waiting for him! I arranged a gathering for him to meet his St. Gabs friends and thank god he enjoyed himself. Barbeque, swam, talked a lot and the night ended even before we knew it. I'm really really glad all was a success and that Ken was happy :)

The next day, the Churchies made a last minute decision to have a birthday dinner with the boy! And we also met dear Esther after 2305728 years!

And if you think it's all over, here's the last one- lunch at Ocean Restaurant at RWS with his parents. The food was so so so good and pretty reasonable for the ambience/location/food and all. We were so excited each time the mantle ray gets close, so here's one nice shot.

I have never seen anyone have so much plans lined up for them, and it's not even for a major year (like 16/18/21), so I hope everything made your birthday the best ever.

Happy birthday pyongz! <3

(PS Time check: 2.24PM)
