Yes it's the big two. But I didn't have any big celebration or whatnots. My birthday pretty much lasted over 3 days and it was 3 good days, I'd say.
12 October, Saturday
Woke up crazy early to make my way down to The Floating Platform with some churchies to witness Neo "graduate" from his BMT. Due to the lack of sleep, the 4 boys were being over active for a couple of hours, running on reserve battery. The BMT ceremony made more sense this time, as we got to see a lot more of it since we weren't late, plus I was with 3 army boys + 1 to be, so I had them to explain what's going on at every step hehehe. After the ceremony, we decided to avoid the crowd and headed down to Old Airport Road for lunch. We ordered a spread but finished everything. Haha!
While the boys went home to crash, I went for driving lesson before meeting the bestfriend in town. I got a treat to some pretty darn yummy Japanese food, though the service wasn't fantastic. We didn't order a lot, but we couldn't finish everything either way, we felt like we were gonna explode. We got Bucks then went to Typo (because I wanted to), where we decided to buy and exchange Christmas presents right there and then :)
We made our way back to J's house to grab some stuffs before they boyfriend picked us up to go to Holland V for some self-pampering. After sending J home, we met Ivan & Neo for some ice cream, where my system was slowly shutting down and all I wanted to do was sleep.
All in all, it was a long but fruitful day and I enjoyed myself, a lot. Thanks for the treat bb <3
13 October, Sunday
The eve of my birthday was spent with my family. We had a spread, I'm not even kidding. Some prepared food plus mummy bought a tray of sushi, there was s o m u c h food. Then they got Ken to lure me down to the carpark (which was quite a lousy plan because I saw through it immediately but played along anyway HAHA) and while we were away, they prepped the cake and wrote wishes over the cake box. And for the first time in 20 years, I had a durian cake! Om nom nom it was awesomeeeee. Then came the presents! Which I love all and will try to use them heh.
Ken had plans to bring me to some museums but sadly they weren't open. (Something about us liking to spend our birthdays at museums and exhibitions haha!) So we decided to go to Hort Park for the first timeeeee. But frankly it wasn't as nice as I imagined it to be.
Wanted to have a nice birthday meal at some cutesy café, but ended up at Astons, WHICH I REALLY REGRET because....
14 October, Monday (oh the actual day yayyy)
So I didn't sleep well all night, and I woke up feeling at my worst because I was down with food poisoning. The first thing that came to my mind was Aston's chicken, eww. Yep I spent the entire day in bed and in the toilet, sleeping, diarrhea, vomiting.
It was horrible.
But of course, it didn't stop me from meeting the bestesttttttt bunch, who were really nice to agree to go to Night Safari even with just one day (actually just a couple of hours) notice. It was sooooo fun hehehe. Although I felt nauseous most of the way, I enjoyed myself and I'm really really really thankful for such nice bunch of friends <3
